Councilwoman - City Wide

Nicole Renzulli, a Cranston native, graduated from Cranston High School West in 2002 as an All-State runner and Honors student. She earned a BA in English with a minor in Communications from Florida State University where she was a Division I runner. Nicole initially worked as an associate producer in Tallahassee, later returning to Cranston for family. She served as an Administrative Officer and then Principal Planning and Program Specialist in Rhode Island’s Health Insurance Commissioner's Office. Currently, she ensures Covid Regulation Compliance as Facility Coordinator at Body Rock Fitness & Nutrition and coaches Track & Field and Cross-Country at Western Hills Middle School and Cranston High School West.

Nicole is mother to Anthony, Francesca, and Jovanna, and wife to Cranston native Joe Martins. A committed volunteer, Nicole coaches for CLCF Panthers Cross-Country, Indoor, and Outdoor Track & Field teams and is CLCF's Director of Fundraising. She's active in her children's school PTO, contributing to the community alongside Ward 4 Councilman Ed Brady, and is part of the Cranston West Alumni Association.

As Citywide Councilwoman, Nicole focuses on planning Cranston’s future while honoring past leaders like Mayor Allan Fung. She aims to deeply understand constituents' issues, serve all Cranston citizens, and maintain the city's fiscal and infrastructural stability while promoting quality education, public safety, suitable housing, and vital services. Nicole, a political newcomer, hopes her bi-partisan approach will foster collaboration and problem-solving on the council, stating, "I am NOT a politician - I am a public servant. My only agenda is to make Cranston a great place for all people to live and do business."
